We love video games! We feel that with our Podcast we bring a unique perspective to video game commentary that is both entertaining and informative. We think our show has a certain professional quality to it that seperates it from most of video game Podcasts out there.

Chris, who works for Gamasutra.com, brings an up-to-the-minute journalistic view to the show. Elizabeth, a hardcore gamer and community manager at 2K Games, brings both a female and industry perspective. And Mark, who works with the Federal Government, is a Network Engineer and has been a hardcore gamer all his life bringing a ton of opinions with him.

Join us in our shenanigans and tomfoolery for we have a lot to say!

Hey, that was a intresting podcast you guys made with "The Brainy Gamer" :)
Although I disagree with avoiding all EA products because of the way they wanted to advertise, i'd say it was just more of a marketing flop.
If it was something like oh, unreasonable DRM then that'd be all too good a reason to me.

I'm really impressed so far, the support for any game you download is excellent and just how there is no annoying CD keys / online check / or programs needed to be installed really makes it a stress free service.
And also how each game comes in a neatly packed .exe makes backing up a sinch as well.

The prices are great too, $5.99-$9.99 is a great price point, a much better spend than an extra hat or map nonsense in the form of DLC for modern games..

The "extra features" that come with each game vary in quality, usually not very good but the high quality PDF manuals are nice though. Anyway, it's the games you should be after..

Looking forward to more releases from them.

(oh seeing Shogo work on a modern PC is a feat in itself..)

I've never used GOG and am not sure if Elizabeth or Chris has. I'll check with them. Any impressions?

I think the dialects used would be called garbled Irish.
Hearing them say "Top of the mornin' to ya!" would confirm it.

Anyway, when you guys going to mention GOG.com? :P None of you used it yet?

The DS isnt region locked? Interesting. I suppose I could use Paypal to purchase the game from a euro store, but then the shipping would probably kill me. :/

Are the dialects used in Fable considered "lower class" or "ghetto" by your general populous? I forget what the dialect is called, sorry.

Hey Mark you can still get Tetris DS here in the UK for the normal price.. or over Ebay for cheaper..
Pritty sweat the DS plays games from every region huh?

And about the Fable games, I don't think I could ever replay the first one, the voices just drive me mad, that's saying alot seeing as I am from the UK..
Avoided the second one like the plague, really not interested from what I have seen.
