A great one with the original humour of you guys that I like most.

But... at the end I expected some outtakes you talked about... or, at least the end-signation song...

Mark, the reason Tetris DS is in such short supply is because The Tetris Company refused to renew the license to Nintendo shortly after the game was released, for unknown reasons.

Sorry about this, and yes you're correct--I initially was going to include the best of out outtakes.

Here is what happened: I began cutting up all the previous episodes to grab the outtakes working my way from E1 to E35. Once I hit E35 I was 4 hours into editing E50 and I was so swamped with a ton of life stuff in general, it just because tedious and it was apparent to me that I wasnt going to get E50 out in a timely manner if I was to continue. On top of that I had 1 hour and 15 minutes of outtakes sitting on my timeline in Garageband. That's a lot to lean up into 10-15 minutes to slide into the back of E50.

In the end I decided to forego this and just turn it into a seperate project that will be released on its own. I'll grab some other stuff (like the most enjoyable intos) and wrap it up into a fun compilation.

no ETA on this, and sorry to disappoint. :(

Hi Kuddles and welcome to our forums (and podcast?).

So is that what happened? I suppose I could contact Nintendo to see if they have any word of this (at least officially).

I should have been more careful with my wording. Nothing official has been stated, but there has been a lot of discussion suggesting this is the case. It certainly makes sense. The Tetris Company has a history of being finicky with the license, Nintendo clearly stopped producing the game (which they have done before, but never on a title that sells that well), and the latest version of Tetris on WiiWare was distributed by Hudson.

Also, not new to the podcast, been following Chris Remo's endeavours for a while now, but new to the forums. I've been spending most of my recent time playing Far Cry 2, so I didn't previously feel I could add to the conversation on these boards that wouldn't be redundant. :)

Thanks for the detail response.

And in regards to more Far Cry 2 talk, live it up! We encourage conversation and discussion here. :)

BTW, who is the cute lady in your profile picture, she looks so familiar (an actress correct?)
